School Facilities Survey Results

Fennimore Community Schools is focused on ensuring success for every child and creating a culture where staff collaborate, families are engaged, and students support one another.
As we work to achieve these goals, the Board of Education in collaboration with the administrators are addressing the District’s facility challenges.
In general, the needed facilities repairs fall into three categories:
Major Building Systems
Safety & Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Compliance
Classrooms & Support Spaces
Earlier this year, the Board of Education hired Performance Services, Inc. to evaluate the condition of each school. A complete facility study was completed, with a programming study, too. This assessed what learning spaces are needed to plan for the future educational needs of Fennimore students.
The district sent out a survey to collect community input to help the Board of Education decide on an option it might present to the public in the form of a referendum question.

The purpose of each meeting was to allow residents to meet directly with district representatives and to ask questions about the information presented in the survey.
Both community information meetings were the same.
