The Frontier of Flight Tri-Fold Presentation

National History Day is a non-profit organization in College Park, Maryland that operates an annual project-based contest for students in grades 6-12. This is a research based project and the World History 8 classes at Fennimore Middle School have been working on their projects since the beginning of the school year. The students have committed a massive amount of time and energy to activities such as finding primary and secondary sources, developing a thesis and research questions, finding pictures and historically accurate information that supports their research, completing a process paper and a citations page, and finally, completing a trifold activity that showcases their hard work. The regional competition is held in La Crosse, WI with winners going onto the national competition held at the University of Maryland. The theme for this year's project is “Frontiers in History: People, Places and Ideas”.
