Bree from Mrs. Kamps’ 4th Grade Class got some exciting news this week! She found out her essay won in the writing contest sponsored by the Agriculture in the Classroom program. The Agriculture in the Classroom coordinator visited FES this week to make the announcement to the 4th grade classes and give Bree her awards!
There were over 1,700 students in the state who submitted entries. This year’s essay contest focused on our state’s largest agriculture industry - dairy. Bree first won the county contest, then the district contest, and then her essay was sent in to the state contest and she won that too!! Great Job Bree!
