Over the years, the Fennimore Elementary cafeteria rang out with music on Friday mornings, thanks to Mr. Gavin Greenlee, who retired at the end of last school year. Not wanting the tradition to be discontinued, music teacher Ms. Lyssa Stolte and computer technician Ms. Carol Jozefowicz have bravely taken up where Mr. Greenlee left off.
Starting this morning, the two brought their guitars to the cafeteria where they spent 20 mins playing and singing with the students. Some of the songs they chose were Stand By Me, You Are My Sunshine, and the Itsy Bitsy Spider. The students and staff enjoyed listening and singing along! Hopefully as the year goes on, the students will learn more of the words to the songs and even more will join in the singing!
