The STEM Shuttle docked at Fennimore Elementary School earlier this week and our FES 4th graders got the chance to hop on board for several hands-on activities. At one of the engineering work stations students tried their hand at balancing pieces to construct a wooden arch. In another workstation students used engineering skills to complete several challenges with magnetic pennies. Students also learned about the dangers of a damaged ozone layer, used star maps to learn about the constellations, and used a robotic arm to simulate working in outer space. The students enjoyed the day of hands-on learning! #FES #EaglesSoar
