Queen Rebekka Hill, King Austin Horn, Senior Rep Sydney Bailie in Homecoming parade

After a year with few events in person, last week Homecoming returned to Fennimore High School!  The week kicked off on Monday with the Spirit Week dress up days, which included movie, tropical, class color, western, and spirit themes.  Wednesday saw the return of Spirit Night which was held on the football field for the first time, followed by the PowderPuff football games.  With the event being moved outside, there were some new games this year, including Water Balloon Toss, and Tug of War.  The juniors and seniors teamed up in the tug of war against the sophomores and freshmen, who defeated their older opponents twice!

This year the seniors took the overall win for the Spirit Night, which included points won for the spirit night games, the school dress up days,  door decorations, and Spirit Night flag.  After the games were over, the PowderPuff Football tournament took place with the high school girls being coached by the boys.  The seniors were the PowderPuff champions this year after a last minute touchdown for the win!

On Friday, the Homecoming Parade was back to its normal route and the elementary students enjoyed all of the floats and music that paraded by them!

That evening the varsity football team took on Parkview and were victorious, defeating them 56 to 22!

Saturday evening the Homecoming Dance was enjoyed by the high school students in the gym.  Rebekka Hill was crowned Queen and Austin Horn was crowned King.  The rest of the Homecoming Court was represented by senior Sydney Bailey, juniors Katlin Herold and Justin Trumm-Nihles, sophomores Brooklyn Lull and Jordan Vold, and freshmen McKenna Helms and Reese Ammon.
