4th Grade Madison Field Trip
submitted by Maya, Ariana, and Kahlia
In 4th grade we went on a field trip to the Wisconsin State Capitol and the Wisconsin Historical Museum. We wanted to share our field trip with you. At the Wisconsin Historical Museum we learned the lumberjacks preferred horses instead of oxen because they were easy to shoe and were very smart. The Babcock Tester is used to test milk to see if it is real or watered down. At the Capitol we learned that the gold is real. There are many paintings in the Capitol and one of them is as big as the floor! We had so much fun and we hope to go back soon.
Thank you Friends of Fennimore Elementary School for covering the cost of our museum admission.
