Today our varsity e-sports team travels to Madison College for their first ever state match in Fennimore history! E-sports started out as a club in the 2018-2019 school year. That year and the following year they competed in an online game called League of Legends. Last year in the 2020-2021 school year, the competed in the online game Overwatch for the first time. They won their first playoff game, but were stopped one match short of the state competition.
This year the team is excited to travel to state for the first time. Their first match begins at 10:00 and will be livestreamed at twitch.tv/wihsea2 for free. Anyone who would like to travel to see them in person can do so at Madison College, 1701 Wright St, Madison. Masks are required in the building!
