Fennimore Community Schools

This week's Class of the Week is Mr. Rutkowski's Third Grade Class. Mr. Rutkowski's third graders have had a great year together! They have been working hard learning about fractions and how they are used in everyday life. Students have also been learning about unique features in animals. In Reading, they’ve seen how unique animal features help solve problems in folktales. They have also seen these unique characteristics as they’ve studied animals from unfamiliar places in the world. 

What is most impressive is their current work on their writing project. Students have read a book on a famous person and are currently using the notes they’ve taken to write a biography report. This is the first big report they’ve attempted and are doing a fantastic job. Mr. Rutkowski has really enjoyed his class and is excited to see what they learn during the rest of the year!
