Fennimore Community Schools

This week's Class of the Week is Mrs. Neisius’ Fifth Grade Class. Mrs. Neisius' students have been very busy reading the trade book Shiloh and discussing the plot of a story. They are also working on writing a summary, reading articles, and working on writing a response to what they read with supporting details. In health, they are studying the blood and how it pumps through the heart and body. In science, they are starting a lab with seven stations about physical and chemical changes. In math, they just completed a unit on adding and subtracting fractions and mixed numbers. In social studies, they just completed a unit on the Civil War. They are also very excited to be back to eating lunch in the lunchroom. Keep up the great work 5th graders!
