3rd grade visited the Henry Vilas Zoo in Madison last Friday and had a great time seeing all the animals come out of their winter homes. After the zoo, they visited the UW-Madison Arboretum where they investigated some different ecosystems. They even got to see a crane sitting on her nest at the lake. The students loved taking their learning outdoors, exploring nature and learning so many new things!
