The Spanish 3 class is participating in the Symbolic Monarch Migration Project sponsored by Journey North. They designed and personalized an ambassador butterfly folder that contains individual life-sized butterflies that each student colored.
The folder contains a letter in Spanish about where this area, and it will be sent to a school near the Monarch Butterfly Reserve in Central Mexico. In the spring, the Spanish 3 class will receive a monarch ambassador folder back from Mexico! Here is a link that tells more about the project:

Yesterday the class mailed off their butterfly at the Fennimore Post Office!
