STATE CROSS COUNTRY INFORMATION

On Saturday, November 1st, the boys and girls teams will compete in the 2025 WIAA State Cross Country Championships. Below is all the important information you'll need for this weekend's state
meet.

📅DATE: Saturday, November 1st

📍LOCATION: The Ridges Golf Course, Wisconsin Rapids, WI

⏱RACE TIME:
The Division 3 boys race will start at 12:00 pm
The Division 3 girls race will start at 1:45pm

🎟TICKETS: Tickets must be purchased ahead of time using the GoFan website: https://gofan.co/event/4046286?schoolId=WIAA2

🚗PARKING: Parking is not allowed at the Ridges Golf Course. Fans must use the designated parking lots for $10 and ride a free shuttle to the golf course. Our third graders had an amazing time last Friday exploring the Henry Vilas Zoo with a fun scavenger hunt! A highlight of our day was the critters exhibit where we were able to see a millipede, turtle and snake up close. What a wonderful way to wrap up our animal classification unit in reading! #fes #EaglesSoar

On Tuesday, October 28th a group of FHS Math students spent the day at the UWP Women in STEM Event ! Students enjoyed breakout sessions diving into real-world problem-solving, including concrete engineering and the science of flight.

This week's Class of the Week is Mr. Z's Fifth Grade Class. They have adjusted well to the 5th grade schedule, switching classes in preparation for middle school. In math, students have been working hard to master their multiplication skills, including multiplying decimals. Science has been fun filled, learning about different food webs and the keystone species in those webs. Next, in Social Studies, they are continuing to learn about the American Revolution. Finally, the School Zone morning show has been a blast and many students have been eager to try new jobs as they finish up their second rotation. #fes #EaglesSoar
