Mrs. Reinke's 2nd grade class recently enjoyed a visit from Mrs. Williams-Richter.
Mrs. WR shared photos from a 2019 visit to the Cerro Pelon Butterfly Sanctuary in Mexico to see the Monarch Butterflies. Students also admired a Mexican blanket and learned about the Life Cycle of the Cabbage White Butterfly from photos and several live butterflies. #fes #EaglesSoar

Washington DC Clothing Order Flash Sale!
The fall clothing order is reopening for the holiday season. Orders can be given to Mrs. Ihm or Mrs. Meyer at the middle school. You may also drop them off at Embroidery Express! Order closes at the end of the school day on Wednesday, November 24th to ensure holiday delivery!

The middle school math department started a Problem of the Week (POW) to challenge students. Each week a POW question is posted outside Mr. Meyer's door and students are invited to try and solve the problem. All correct answers are put in a bin and a winner is drawn out. Each winner receives a $5 Subway gift card. First quarter winners were Kaylee Friederick, Jackson Sheckler, Noah Needham, and Allie Gleason! Congrats, mathematicians!

Earlier this week, some 1st-3rd grade students picked up garbage from around the playground area at FES. Students were happy to help and filled a couple of bags! Great job students!
