Last Friday our Safety Patrol went on their annual trip to Wisconsin Dells. They enjoyed a boat ride to the Witches Gulch, mini golf at Pirates Cove, and amusement rides, virtual reality and arcade games at Knuckleheads. Thanks for all your work this year Safety Patrol!

Mrs. Langmeier's Class recently held a play called "A Fair Day's Wages" in their classroom for their families. The play was about an immigrant family from Russia. They first landed in Ellis Island, and then had to make tough decisions about whether or not to strike for better working conditions in the sweatshops of New York City. Mrs. Langmeier is very proud of all of her cast members (students) and wants to thank family members who sweated it out on a very hot day to come join us! #fes #EagleSoar
The Fifth Grade Class enjoyed touring the Villa Louis and Fur Trading Museum in Prairie du Chien recently. They also learned about the area’s four layers of history by doing a scavenger hike. After lunch at the park by the Mississippi River, they went to Pike’s Peak in Iowa and hiked down to Bridal Veil Falls.

The Golden Greenhouse will be open again on Friday, May 13 from 8 to 4:15pm. Please stop by any time to get your hanging baskets, flowers, planters, tomatoes, etc. They even have 1 apple tree left. All proceeds to go support the development of the Career and Technical Education programs at FHS.

Last night the middle school track teams had an end of the year pizza party. This was the first year for MS Track being an official recognized sport by the school. There was a great deal of growth and success seen over the course of the season, both individually and as teams! The girls team placed 1st or 2nd in all of the meets they competed in and the boys team placed 2nd in the Gene Larson meet at Boscobel. Every athlete worked hard throughout the season and should be proud of their accomplishments. Great work coaches and athletes! #EaglesSoar
