March is here, and that means it’s time to kick off a new Word of the Month at Fennimore Middle School — Perseverance! 💪✨
During our gathering, seniors Corbin Demo, Kylee Mumm, and Mallori Oyen shared what perseverance means to them. They reflected on the challenges they’ve faced throughout their school years and the triumphs that came from pushing through, growing, and never giving up. Their stories were a powerful reminder that perseverance helps shape who we become.
We also heard from Brad the Book Guy, who spoke about what perseverance means to him and how to work through difficult experiences. As always, he brought stories to life by sharing examples of literary characters who demonstrated perseverance in the face of adversity. 📚
We’re excited to focus on perseverance this month and encourage our students to keep striving, growing, and believing in themselves — even when things get tough! 💙

On Tuesday, our 5th and 7th grade students had an exciting opportunity to attend the Pioneering Your Future in STEM event hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Platteville Women in STEM program. Students explored careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics through hands-on activities that encouraged critical thinking, experimentation, and solving real-world challenges. It was a fantastic experience and a great opportunity for our students to learn, explore, and imagine their future possibilities in STEM! #fes #EaglesSoar

In heartbreaking fashion, the Fennimore Girls Basketball team’s season came to an end last night. With the game tied and just one second remaining, Melrose-Mindoro hit a last-second shot to secure a 45–43 victory.
Fennimore graduates only one senior, so the future of the program looks very bright heading into next season. A special thank you to senior Peyton Lendosky for her leadership both on and off the court!
