4th graders ended their Native American unit with a creative challenge—building detailed dioramas! Each individual or group chose a Native American tribe from Wisconsin and researched its traditions, homes, and daily life. Then they brought their learning to life by creating detailed dioramas that included the specific shelters their tribes used. So much creativity and hands-on learning on display! #fes #EaglesSoar

On Nov. 19th a group of 8 FBLA members attended the Annual UWP Business Challenge where student complete in a Sales and Marketing Simulation. Students were mixed with participants from other schools and their five-member team worked through 6 rounds of business decisions. Ryder Zdanczewicz was a member of the 1st place team and won a $500 scholarship, should he wish to attend UWP in the Fall. Corey Dresen and his team placed 2nd. Congrats to all! #FHSFBLA #EaglePride

This week's Class of the Week is Mrs. Melcher's 2nd Grade Class. They have been working hard on using their text evidence to answer questions from various stories, like Kids Excel. They are wrapping up learning 2-digit addition, which they did an amazing job on! This week, they started 2-digit subtraction. In Science, they are learning all about the history of Thanksgiving and will be finishing the week with a fun Mayflower challenge. Nice job 2nd graders! #fes #EaglesSoar

Newton’s Laws took flight in Mr. Carl’s Physics class, literally! This time, students launched balloon rockets down the track. The big question: Does adding mass (like pencils) change how fast the balloon accelerates or how much force it needs to take off? Let the experiments begin!

The 5th grade students recently took a field trip to UW-Platteville where they participated in a presentation on juggling and how math is present in their everyday life. Students practiced recognizing patterns and how that can help solve problems. They even had the opportunity to work together to solve different puzzles presented by the UWP Math Department. After the presentation, students were given a mini tour of the campus that ended in the Huff Family Innovation Center where they were able to see how students used 3D printers, among other very neat machines, to complete different projects.

Mrs. Goss was recently honored at the Annual WEBIT Conference with an award given in memory of Dr. Russ Hosler and Dr. Mary Margaret Hosler--two lifelong champions of Business Education. She was nominated by a fellow Business Teacher and WEBIT member who recognized her dedication to students, her commitment to strengthening Business & Technology Education and her ongoing support of future-ready learning.

Congratulations for Mrs. Goss on this meaningful recognition and for continuing the legacy of excellence that the Hoslers inspired in educators across the country.

Fennimore High School has been recognized as a Blue Star School by W!se Financial Literacy for our students' strong performance on the National Financial Literacy Certification.

We're also proud to share that Mrs. Goss earned the Gold Star Teacher Award, celebrating teachers whose classes achieve a 93% or higher certification rate.

Congratulations to our students for their hard work, and to Mrs. Goss for her outstanding dedication to financial education. This recognition reflects the commitment our school has to preparing students for life beyond graduation.

The Wisconsin Volleyball Coaches Association have released its 2025 All-State teams, with two Fennimore Volleyball junior players making the list. Congratulations Brylie Zink and Brooklyn Ritchie for earning honorable mention in D4.

All divisions honored a 10-player First Team, with Division 1 adding a 10-player Second Team. Each division also honored a corps of players earning Honorable Mention status. Altogether, 247 girls volleyball players across Wisconsin were represented in this year's All-State awards.
