A group of Fennimore Students are headed to the 76th annual Dorian Vocal Festival!
Six of our talented students will travel to Luther College on January 11–12 to join hundreds of singers from across the region. This two-day festival welcomes nominated juniors and seniors to rehearse with Luther’s music faculty, take part in sectionals with fellow vocalists, and experience what it feels like to be part of a 950-voice choir.
The concert will be held on Sunday, January 12th at 5:00 PM on the Luther College campus. If you’re able, come celebrate the incredible work these students pour into their music. Congratulations students!

Mrs. Reinke's Class teamed up with Mrs. Williams-Richter and Ms. Ferguson to create special gifts for their parents. The 2nd graders worked very hard to make their butterfly ornament using Milkweed seed pods and were excited to share their lovely creations at home. #fes #EaglesSoar

A look back at this year's senior class when they were sledding as 5th graders! Just think if all this rain we are getting today was snow? Are you happy or sad that the temperature is so warm? Drop a comment ⬇️ if you recognize anyone! #TBT #EaglesSoar

This week's Class of the Week is Mrs. Streeter's First Grade Class. They have been so excited about all of the new things they have been learning! In Reading, they have been focusing on vowel teams and other phonics sounds to help them increase their oral fluency. They love to read and are so proud of the progress they've made! They also enjoyed making their own passports and have been having fun traveling around the world to different countries and learning about old time folktales. The main focus in Math has been using various strategies to help them become more confident with their addition and subtraction facts to 20. The students were also happy to see the first snow of the winter and have been thoroughly enjoying playing in it! They can't wait to see what new challenges and adventures await them in 2026! Keep up the great work, Mrs. Streeter's 1st graders!

Reminder: There is an early release tomorrow--Thursday, January 8, 2026.

7th Grade Families:
Next week, our 7th graders will be giving an informative speech during their English class! 🎤
Practicing at home can really help students feel more confident and prepared. If you’re able to encourage your child to rehearse their speech—maybe even present it to you—that support goes a long way.
