The Wisconsin Farm Bureau Agriculture in the Classroom program held their 2025 essay contest for 4th and 5th grade. This year's theme was ‘A Wisconsin Tree and Me: How Trees Grow Food and Fiber.’ Fennimore Elementary submitted three entries. Annabelle Winkers (4th) and Ella Jackson (5th) were named the county winners. Annabelle wrote about maple trees and maple syrup production. Ella’s essay was about toilet paper being produced from wood. These essays will now compete at the district level with the possibility of being entered in the state contest. The 5th grade Safety Patrol had an exciting trip to the Wisconsin Dells last week where they enjoyed a variety of fun activities. They took a scenic Upper Dells boat tour, exploring beautiful rock formations along the river. Afterward, they played mini golf, testing their skills and having a blast. The group also visited the Wisconsin Deer Petting Zoo, where they got up close with friendly deer. To finish the day, they experienced the adventure of Wizard Quest, solving puzzles and challenges together. It was a memorable day full of learning and fun! #fes #EaglesSoar

🎉 Celebrating Our Retirees! 🎉
Please join us in thanking and congratulating the incredible staff members from the Fennimore School District who are retiring this year. From the early morning bus routes and warm meals in the cafeteria, to the dedication in our classrooms, board meetings, and support services — your commitment has left a lasting impact on our students, schools, and community.
💛 To our retirees — your years of service, hard work, and heart have helped shape generations of learners. You’ve gone above and beyond, and we are so grateful for all you’ve done.
Wishing you all the best in your next chapter — you will be deeply missed! 🌟

Our first graders had an unforgettable adventure visiting the Faherty Recycling Center and Smith Park! Can you believe the entire group weighed over 6,000 pounds? At the recycling center, students watched a dump truck unload materials, saw cardboard being baled, and even witnessed a ball get popped! They learned about what can be recycled and were amazed to discover that recycled materials can become jeans, decking, carpet, and even countertops. After the tour, the fun continued with lots of playtime at Smith Park. What a fun day of learning and laughter! #fes #EaglesSoar
