As temperatures drop, germs tend to spread more easily. A few simple habits can help keep your family healthy:
✅ Wash hands often with soap and water ✅ Cover coughs and sneezes ✅ Keep kids home when they’re not feeling well ✅ Make sure everyone gets plenty of rest and fluids
Together, we can help keep our school community healthy all season long! 💪💛 #HealthyHabits #ColdAndFluSeason #FennimoreEagles #EaglesSoar

This week's Class of the Week is Mrs. Langmeier's 5th Grade Class. Mrs. Langmeier's Class has been busy this fall. They enjoyed the fifth grade field trip to Bethel Horizons recently where they worked on team building skills by doing a giant swing, zip lining, and a low ropes course in the woods. They have been reading the trade book Shiloh and working on personal narratives about their field trip experience. In Science, they have been studying all about food webs. In Social Studies, they have been learning about the American Revolutionary War. In Math, they have been working on their multiplication skills. They are enjoying the postcards they have received from all over the world through their Travel Journals, and they are displaying them on a classroom bulletin board until the end of the year. Keep up the good work 5th Graders!

Students had a blast guessing which furry friend belonged to each teacher on Principal Day's “Teacher’s Pets” bulletin board. Congratulations to Mrs. Reinke’s class for the most correct guesses — they celebrated with root beer floats! #fes #EaglesSoar

Earlier this month, the Kindergarten classes enjoyed their Fall field trip to Vesperman Farms. They enjoyed an unusually warm fall afternoon at the farm filled with tractor rides to the pumpkin patch, feeding goats in the animal barn, and testing their brains in the mini corn maze. They had an awesome trip as always! They want to thank Vesperman Farms for opening their doors to student tours and the chaperones that joined them. Happy Fall Everyone! #fes #EaglesSoar
Congrats to Grendall for winning Student Council's Guess the Weight of the Pumpkin challenge! His guess of 16.7 lbs was the closest to the actual weight of 16.4 lbs. Great job Grendall! #FES #EaglesSoar

It’s National School Bus Safety Week! 🚌
This week, we’re reminding everyone to stop for school buses, stay alert, and keep our students safe.
✅ Drivers: Stop when red lights flash — it’s the law. ✅ Students: Stay seated, listen to your driver, and wait for the signal before crossing. ✅ Parents: Review bus safety rules at home — safety starts with all of us!
Let’s work together to make every ride to and from school a safe one. 💛🦅 #SchoolBusSafetyWeek #SafetyFirst #FennimoreGoldenEagles

It was a Jenga-style teacher challenge at today’s PBIS morning assembly! It was a tight race, but Mrs. Wienkes came out on top—removing an impressive 16 blocks in just 2 minutes! Just like with Jenga, you need a strong base—and our school is built on being respectful, responsible, and safe! #fes#EaglesSoar

Last Friday, our 2nd grade students traveled to Shihata's Apple Orchard in Prairie du Chien. They enjoyed a beautiful fall day and were treated to caramel apple sundaes. The students were able to play, go on a tractor ride, navigate the corn maze, decorate pumpkins and learn about the process of growing apples. They were even able to see apple cider being made! What a great day of learning and fun! #fes #EaglesSoar

This week's Class of the Week is Mrs. Wiest's 3rd Grade Class. In reading they are learning all about animal classification and are looking forward to their field trip to the Madison Zoo next week. In math they are continuing multiplication, focusing this week on the facts for 10's, 9's, 1's, and 0's. Mrs. Wiest is so proud of the hard work these kids put in each and every school day! Keep up the great work 3rd graders!
