In case a packing list for the 6th grade trip to Wyalusing didn't make it home...

Please remember to pack old clothes that will keep you warm. You will be dirty, muddy, and sweaty despite low temperatures reaching the upper 20's and low 30's.

Over the last couple weeks, the Spanish 2 students participated in a special project. They learned about the Monarch butterfly’s life cycle and incredible migration from the U.S. and Canada to Mexico, where they hibernate for winter. They took part in the Symbolic Migration Project, sending life-sized paper butterflies to children in Mexico to promote Monarch conservation. Students also explored the butterfly’s connection to Día de los Muertos and will soon read a short novel in Spanish about this tradition. More information about the project here: https://journeynorth.org/symbolic-migration. #ClassroomNews #EaglePride
