Congratulations to Anika, our Teen of the Week. Anika will featured in the October 30th Fennimore Times for being nominated for going above and beyond — showing dedication, positivity, and leadership that makes a difference at our school.
This week's Class of the Week is Mr. Z's Fifth Grade Class. They have adjusted well to the 5th grade schedule, switching classes in preparation for middle school. In math, students have been working hard to master their multiplication skills, including multiplying decimals. Science has been fun filled, learning about different food webs and the keystone species in those webs. Next, in Social Studies, they are continuing to learn about the American Revolution. Finally, the School Zone morning show has been a blast and many students have been eager to try new jobs as they finish up their second rotation. #fes #EaglesSoar

Tomorrow’s Red Ribbon Week theme is all about spooky fun and smart choices with Halloween costume dress up day. Students should bring their costume to school and then they will change into it after lunch. Get those costumes ready and help us spread the message that we’re too "spook"tacular for drugs! #RRW2025 #FES #EaglesSoar

Earlier this month, the fourth graders had an exciting field trip to the beautiful Wisconsin Capitol and the Wisconsin Veteran’s Museum. At the Capitol, they explored the State Assembly chamber and discovered how representatives work together to make laws. The students were fascinated by the story of Old Abe and the mysterious ghost in a painting, which is said to appear because the painter replaced a soldier with a badger, and over time, the soldier’s image has been slowly reappearing. They also visited the Hearing Room, home to the Capitol’s largest and most impressive fossil. At the Wisconsin Veteran’s Museum, the students learned about various wars and saw different machines, airplanes, and uniforms that soldiers used throughout history, making the visit both educational and memorable. #fes #EaglesSoar

Thank you, Collision Specialists, for running their annual back to school fundraiser to help raise funds for our area schools. This fall, they presented a check to Fennimore Community Schools to use towards assisting families in need.
This year, Collision Specialists raised over $12,751.00 for local schools in 16 different districts. They are committed to support schools because they feel that our communities are built on our schools. Since 2012 they have donated over $70,000 to area schools.

The salad bar is always a favorite among students and staff at the Middle and High School, but today it was extra special! It featured fresh lettuce grown right in our FHS Agriculture classroom using the Flex Farm. Keely Everson collected a total of 13 bags of Romaine and Green Star lettuce for students to enjoy. #FlexFarm #SchoolLunch
