This week's Class of the Week is Mrs. Gunderson's Tues/Thurs 4K Class. These 4K students are trying to hurry Spring along by learning about insects and spiders! They learned the nursery rhymes Itsy, Bitsy Spider and Little Miss Muffet and decorated the halls with their "Ants Picnic". While learning about the color black they made black sheep, along with learning Baa, Baa, Black Sheep. They sure are thinking spring in the 4K room! #EaglesSoar #fes

Students in Mrs. Langmeier's Class read biographies this quarter. After reading and learning about their famous person they wrote a report pretending they were that person. They also made paper bag puppets of their famous person. Students enjoyed listening to each other's reports and figuring out who the famous person was!

Mrs. Kamps' class held a Superbowl party the week before the big game. The students voted on who they thought would win, played NFL trivia and bingo, and did a STEM activity in which the students had to make a football field. The students needed to design a field with a goal post, a football, and a stadium only using a specific set of materials that included straws, popsicle sticks, and only 12" of tape! Great job 4th graders!
