Fennimore Schools will be dismissed at 1:00 PM on Thursday, March 9th due to weather.
This week's Class of the Week is Mrs. Kamps' Class. These fourth graders have been super busy! They just completed a unit on heat and energy by making a poster and doing a popcorn experiment. They are also learning about immigration by doing a presentation about their family and how they came to Wisconsin. The class is also learning about different diseases and is writing a creative writing story. They have also been working hard to complete their Accelerated Reader goals. A huge congratulations to Tatum Wood for winning first place in Wisconsin's DOT Aviation Art Contest for ages 6-9! This year's theme was Air Sports and the Environment. Tatum's artwork will be displayed in a special exhibit at the Wisconsin State Capitol in Madison and will advance to the national competition in Washington, DC. Way to go, Tatum! #fes #EaglesSoar

This week's Class of the Week is Mrs. Langmeier's 5th Grade Class. These 5th Graders have been very busy this quarter! They are enjoying the trade book Hoot in Reading Class, while working on various skills like comprehension and vocabulary building. In English, they are researching and writing Comparison/Contrast Essays. They are studying about the Civil War in History Class. In Science, they are learning about properties of matter and using their investigative skills during their Mystery Powder Unit. In Math, they are working on area and multiplying fractions.
