Please do not wear green tomorrow, as Jostens uses a green screen as a background!

Last Friday our 4th graders got the chance to attend the Platteville Historic Re-enactment. This event showcases the history of America’s Upper Mississippi Valley from the mid-1700s to 1840. It features educators, artisans, and re-enactors. There are over 30 sites, all which focus on a different historical theme. What a fun way to learn about the history of our area! #EaglesSoar #fes

Unified Community Services in Lancaster shared the following information with schools:
DEA warns of brightly-colored fentanyl being used to target young Americans. It is being seized in multiple forms, including pills, powder, and blocks that resembles sidewalk chalk. Just two milligrams of fentanyl, which is equal to 10-15 grains of table salt, is considered a lethal dose. Is you encounter fentanyl in any form, do not handle it and call 911 immediately! #seesomethingsaysomething #keepingkidssafe

Welcome back students and staff! Let's make 22-23 awesome! #EaglesSoar #fcs

Formal For Free’s mission is to provide memorable, equitable high school prom and homecoming experiences for deserving young women in our local communities.
Jen Kelley is the founder of the Formal For Free initiative. Her vision started with the goal of providing memorable, equitable high school prom and homecoming experiences for young women in our local communities, many of whom cannot afford the experience. These events are some of the most exciting, fun-filled experiences for young adults, and everyone should have access. What started as a small effort to gather some donated formal dresses has exploded due to the generosity of our amazing community! They’ve collected and currently have over 500 formal dresses available.
This pleasantly unexpected level of generosity comes with some additional expenses. Formal for Free is seeking financial donations to help them with these and other expenses as they arise.
· Dry cleaning
· Insurance
· Display racks
· Trifold changing stations
· Make-up and hair sessions or gift cards
· Meal fees
· Shoes and other accessories
One hundred percent of all donations support the Formal for Free initiative. Our goal is to maintain a large, diverse inventory for years. Every contribution will help get us closer to realizing our vision for every young woman in our local communities to feel beautiful and create special high school memories.
