Mrs. Kamps’ class participated in the United States Postal Service’s
Pen Pal Project. Throughout the year they exchanged letters with Mr.
Levy’s class at Briskin Elementary School. Briskin Elementary is
located in Los Angeles, California. They recently were able to Zoom
with their pen pals and see each other face to face. Mrs. Kamps’ class enjoyed asking questions about their school and California and Mr. Levy’s class wanted to know how they could stand the snow and cold! #fes #EaglesSoar

4th-grader Ariana Reinsbach entered an essay contest held by The Wisconsin Farm Bureau-Ag in the Classroom entitled, "What's Popping in Wisconsin? The value of corn to our economy". Ariana placed first in Grant County. Her essay was then sent to the District 3 contest where she came in 1st place out of six counties. Last week, Jessica Brogley presented Ariana her award. Her teacher, Mrs. Kamps, was also presented with a STEM activity and curriculum guide about the science of popcorn. Congratulations Ariana!

The Fennimore Elementary teachers and staff have done it again! Once again they stored up enough creativity for the end of the year to send their students off with an exciting good-bye video! We hope everyone has a safe and fun summer and we look forward to seeing their smiling faces in the fall!
