Mrs. Kamps' class has been busy learning all about electricity and magnetism. They learned that static electricity happens when positive and negative charges no longer balance. They used balloons to demonstrate this by trying to get the balloons to stick to things in the classroom. They also watched to see which students' balloon would stick the longest. #EaglesSoar #fes
Yesterday some of our 5th and 7th grade girls got the chance to attend a “Women in STEM Day” event. Students were able to learn and explore all the opportunities within science, technology, engineering and math. Some of the activities included coding, examining different types of soil, creating neurons, and several different industrial and civil engineering activities. #EaglesSoar

This week's Class of the Week is Mrs. Kamps' Class. These fourth graders have been super busy! They just completed a unit on heat and energy by making a poster and doing a popcorn experiment. They are also learning about immigration by doing a presentation about their family and how they came to Wisconsin. The class is also learning about different diseases and is writing a creative writing story. They have also been working hard to complete their Accelerated Reader goals.
