Mrs. Kamps' class has been busy learning all about electricity and magnetism. They learned that static electricity happens when positive and negative charges no longer balance. They used balloons to demonstrate this by trying to get the balloons to stick to things in the classroom. They also watched to see which students' balloon would stick the longest. #EaglesSoar #fes

Yesterday some of our 5th and 7th grade girls got the chance to attend a “Women in STEM Day” event. Students were able to learn and explore all the opportunities within science, technology, engineering and math.
