Today's #flashbackdfriday takes us back to the 2018-19 school year when the STEM Shuttle rolled into town. The STEM Shuttle is full of fun and engaging science, technology, engineering, and math activities for our upper elementary students. FES students have been able to enjoy this mobile classroom a few times since 2018 and will get another great learning opportunity when it returns to FES in early October. #flashbackfriday #EaglesSoar
Each summer, teachers and community members give of their time and knowledge to work with our elementary and middle school students for summer school. From working on reading and math skills, to learning life skills like cooking and fishing, our students benefit from learning something new each day. Summer School 2022 wrapped up last week! Everyone had a blast getting a jump start to the new school year! Students also enjoyed their time with friends and exploring their interests through the different exploratory classes that were offered. CESA 3 is holding a substitute teacher training on August 2 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. The cost is $100. New substitute teachers in Wisconsin need the minimum of an associates degree and certified training (like this workshop) to obtain a license.
Attendees will learn how to apply for the license, classroom management and instructional techniques, and a much more!
The next scheduled training will likely be in November, so getting the school year started with a license in hand is the best plan! #eaglessoar
