Our first flashback of the 21-22 school year takes us back to last August when the Fennimore Eagles football team held on to the milk can with their win over the Iowa-Grant Panthers. If you have multiple children in our school, they can toggle back and forth from one account to another in the app. You find helpful instructional videos on our library page. These 14 fifth grade students were the producers of the 21-22 season of the School Zone and they helped make this season a huge success! These producers took on a lot of responsibility. On top of the important job of writing the script each day, they also had to learn all the different SZ jobs, organize and help other students with their roles each morning, and produce the live show. Needless to say, the show wouldn't have gone on without them! Great job 5th graders!

Earlier this year, we were excited to learn that Kurt Meyer, middle school science and math teacher, was named the Wisconsin Council of Trout Unlimited Distinguished Service Youth Education Award winner. Mr. Meyer, who is an avid fly fisherman, was nominated for sharing his passion for cold water resources in the Driftless area in his classroom and with youth in the community.

State Track Results!
Congrats to our three outstanding student-athletes who competed at the State Track & Field Meet at UW-LaCrosse today!
Senior Delanee Klaas competed in the 100 and 300 hurdles. Del finished in 4th place in the 300 hurdles and 3rd in the 100 hurdles. Delanee wraps up her high school career with five medals from the State Meet!
Sophomore Izzy Bender placed second in the high jump and took home a silver medal!
Sophomore Rose French competed in the pole vault and tied for 12th place in her first trip to the State Meet!

The Fennimore Elementary Library is offering a summer camp from Capstone Books. This virtual Summer Camp Adventure is a twelve-week learning and reading camp with six bi-weekly themes of places we will GO!
Each choice board will include 20 FREE Capstone Interactive eBooks per theme. That is 120 FREE eBooks for summer reading, which will be available until September 15, 2022. There will be a variety of formats, fiction, nonfiction, graphic novels and chapter books, for all ages, 4K to 5th grade.

Starting May 4 – August 17, 2022, the Sora Sweet Reads program will offer a collection of titles that will be prominently displayed in Sora for quick and easy unlimited access. Students can also borrow titles under the Wisconsin Schools Digital Library Consortium collection.
