Congrats to sophomore, Riley Foreyt, for completing 9 certifications in the Spring Semester. As a student in both Advanced Computer Apps and Accounting I, he went above and beyond. He is now considered Microsoft Office Master Certified and a Quickbooks Online Certified User.

Last night the middle school track teams had an end of the year pizza party. This was the first year for MS Track being an official recognized sport by the school. There was a great deal of growth and success seen over the course of the season, both individually and as teams! The girls team placed 1st or 2nd in all of the meets they competed in and the boys team placed 2nd in the Gene Larson meet at Boscobel. Every athlete worked hard throughout the season and should be proud of their accomplishments. Great work coaches and athletes! #EaglesSoar

Last week students in Mrs. Reinke's class made solar ovens for "experiment" day. It was a challenge for the kids but they had a lot of fun doing it. To test their ovens, they tried to make smores. It was a chilly and cloudy day but, despite this, they found that the chocolate started to melt. Melting sure wouldn't have been a problem today! What a fun and yummy experiment! #fes #EaglesSoar

Thank you to our alum, Kennedy Lee, for zooming with Mrs. Chiefari’s English 11 classes to talk about college preparation, taking advantage of opportunities, and advice on how to navigate both college and young professional life. Kennedy currently resides in Washington DC where she works for Krach Institute for Tech Diplomacy. She graduated from Fennimore in 2016 and UW Madison in 2020. Her passions of politics, language, and diplomacy have landed her many extraordinary opportunities. We are so proud of you, Kennedy! Thank you for motivating our students and giving back to our community.

A HUGE congratulations goes out to the WINNER of the Survivor contest at Fennimore Elementary School, Mrs. Schoenberg! But all the staff did an amazing job with the challenges and the school rang out with laughter all week in honor of our teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week. We even had a special guest appear today to take his own spin of the Survivor Wheel, Mayor Boebel! Thanks again to Mrs. Burkum for a fun week!

4th Grade had the opportunity to partner with Fennimore FFA students and go on a Food for America field trip. The students were exposed to different places in the community that help provide food and services to our area. The places that they visited were Jim's Building Center, Bender's Food, Reddy Ag, JC's Acre's, Fennimore Vet Clinic, and Cathman's Farm. Students had an amazing time traveling to these different places and learning from the FFA students.
