The first teacher challenge of the school year was held this morning during our FES Fennimore Friday PBIS Assembly. It was very close, but Mrs. Kamps came away the winner! She used 2 spoons, and one at a time put the most (25) pennies in the bucket! Way to go Mrs. Kamps! #fes #EaglesSoar

Welcome to Fennimore Schools, Mrs. Bradley. We are glad you are here! #EaglesSoar

After reading The Water Princess, a story about a girl who lives in Africa and has to walk miles each day to get water, Mrs. Melcher's 2nd Graders used various items to build their own water filters. They talked about how lucky they are to have access to clean water and to be able to attend school each day! The children worked hard to plan, create, experiment, and improve their water filters. What a blast!🙂#fes #EaglesSoar

Congratulations to Jenna James and Kayahna Furrer for their outstanding achievements in softball! They've been recognized for All-District and All-State honors! Your dedication, hard work, and talent have truly paid off. We are so proud of you both!

During the first quarter of the school year Mrs. Droessler worked with the fourth and fifth grade students to review the keyboarding skills they had learned in the previous year. Then, throughout the rest of the year students worked through a self-paced online keyboarding program to continue to build their skills. Periodic checks were done to monitor student progress and celebrate student success. The growth in speed, accuracy and confidence as the year progressed was amazing! At the end of the year, Mrs. Droessler handed out awards to the top 3 keyboarders in each homeroom based on the data from the online program. Congratulations to the top keyboarders from each class, as well as all the fourth and fifth graders, for their hard work and dedication to learning this important skill. #fes #EaglesSoar

A couple of weeks ago we shared that Bree Stalsberg was the Agriculture in the Classroom essay contest winner on the county and district level. Her essay then went on to the state level. Mrs. Kamps and Mrs. Langmeier recently received word that Bree has won the state contest for the 5th grade! This is extra exciting as Bree was the state winner for 4th grade last year. Bree will be honored at a ceremony during the Annual Department of Agriculture, Trade, and Consumer Protection Board Meeting on July 11th. Congratulations Bree! Thank you for your involvement in the Wisconsin Agriculture in the Classroom program. Fennimore is proud of you! #fes #EaglesSoar

Is your child missing their glasses? These were left at the elementary school and found after students had left for the summer. They can be collected in the elementary office Monday - Thursday!

Many of our grade levels got the chance at the end of the year, if the weather cooperated, to do an afternoon at Marsden Park. They walked up to the park, had a picnic lunch, and then got to play all afternoon! Such a fun way to get some fresh air and exercise! #fes #EaglesSoar
