This week's Class of the Week is Ms. Nalepinski's Monday/Wednesday 4K Class. Insects... spiders.... and bugs....oh my! Ms. Nalepinski's 4K Class has had a blast learning about spiders and insects and how they are different. Insects are bugs, but not all bugs are insects. They learned about the number of body parts insects have and that the body parts are called the head, thorax, and abdomen. They have had fun with the color black and the nursery rhymes "Baa, Baa Black Sheep", "Itsy Bitsy Spider", and "Little Miss Muffet". Their spider webs and spiders that they made are hanging in the halls outside their rooms. Be careful when you walk in the school.....they may come down and land on your head! As always, 4K is very busy and fun! Keep up the great work 4K friends! #fes #EaglesSoar

The third-grade students enjoyed a delightful math activity last week and would like to extend their gratitude to Mary Sheckler, of Papa Murphy's in Platteville/Prairie du Chien, for generously contributing her time and providing all the necessary ingredients. Thanks to her support, these third grade students had the opportunity to engage in hands-on learning, where they weighed, measured, counted, and portioned out their favorite ingredients. Each student created their own delicious masterpiece to take home and bake. While waiting to make their pizza students also got the chance to work on other various activities to sharpen their fraction skills. #EaglesSoar #fes
