This week's Class of the Week is Mrs. Greenlee's Class. These fourth graders have returned from winter break and are already hard at work! In ELA, the students are reading and writing poetry to strengthen their creativity and comprehension skills. In social studies, they are learning about the explorers and fur traders who lived in Wisconsin in the 1600s and how they exchanged ideas and goods with Native Americans. In math, students are applying all four operations to solve word problems and are excited to begin exploring fractions soon. These amazing fourth graders have jumped back into learning with enthusiasm and focus! Keep up the great work 4th graders!

Third graders traveled back in time to wrap up their Ancient Rome reading unit with Roman Games! Students celebrated their learning with hands-on activities like jousting, creating mosaics, archery, chariot races, and sword fighting using pool noodles. These games made history come alive and gave students a fun, memorable way to celebrate everything they learned about Ancient Rome. #fes #EaglesSoar

⚡💡 Mr. Carl’s class powered up learning! 💡⚡
Students became electricians for the day, designing and building their own circuits to light up Christmas lights. From simple circuits to more complex parallel ones, they tested, troubleshot, and problem-solved until the lights turned on. When it didn’t work? They investigated, fixed it, and tried again—just like real engineers!

FFA students, Teegan Griswold and Reid Stalsburg, attended the Half-Time Conference in Stevens Point January 16th and 17th. They explored agriculture beyond the classroom with a visit to Lodi Veterinary Clinic and attended an Agriculture Literacy Workshop—plus they stole the show with their matching outfits for the dance. Way to proudly represent FHS FFA. #EaglePride #FFAPride #FFA26

Our FES Friday PBIS Assembly was full of laughs as students teamed up with their teachers for a silly challenge! The goal? Toss pom-poms and see how many could stick in a plate of whipped cream balanced on top of the teacher’s head! Teamwork, cheering, and lots of giggles filled the room as we celebrated positive behavior! Congrats to the winning team of Mrs. Bunn and Bradley Schmidt and thank you to all our amazing teachers and students for being good sports and making it a memorable assembly! #fes #PBIS #EaglesSoar
