This week's Class of the Week is Mr. Z's Fifth Grade Class. Besides mastering their multiplication and division skills, students recently went to UW-Platteville to watch a presentation on how mathematics is intertwined in their everyday life. Additionally, Mr. Z's students have been working hard on writing many different types of personal narratives, including how they got their name. Finally, Social Studies and Science have been exciting by making cards for Veterans Day and taking apart old toys to explore the inside. #fes #EaglesSoar

Parents and Guardians, please mark your calendars for Friday, December 13th and Friday, December 20th.
We will be running half days due to the power needing to be turned off at the MS/HS building for construction.
Elementary bus students will be released at 11:55
MS/HS students will be released at 12:10
All students will have the opportunity to eat lunch prior to leaving school on both Fridays. There will be no access into the MS/HS building after students leave on either day, so students should bring all items needed home.

This week's Class of the Week is Ms. Hunt's 4th Grade Class. They have been very busy in Room 51! They just finished their turkey writing where they had to beg families to find a different turkey to have for Thanksgiving. Recently during math, they learned how to do long division. Long division is one of the most challenging math skills taught in 4th grade and they have been working so hard at it! Lastly, they have been building dioramas to portray a Native American Tribe from Wisconsin. Keep up the great work 4th Graders!

Last month, the third graders took a field trip to Folklore Village. The classes traveled through three different stations. One station was the old school house where the students learned about the school, who attended, and talked about the differences at our school. They also learned a few games and found out that their teachers were magic! A second station taught folk dancing including the broom waltz. In the last group, students learned about wool and made their own wool balls to take home. #fes #EaglesSoar

The Wisconsin Association of Foreign Language Teachers (WAFLT) recently held its annual Discover Languages Postcard Contest, and our talented FHS students had the opportunity to participate! Three of our students submitted beautiful, thoughtful postcards, and we're thrilled to announce that Lucerito Acatzihua-Rodriguez was one of the winners!
¡Felicidades, Lucerito! We are so proud of you for showcasing the beauty of cultural fusion through your art. Keep inspiring us all!

It was student/teacher challenge time this morning at our PBIS Assembly. Students could turn in Eagle Wings for the chance to compete. One student from each grade K-5 was drawn. Students had to try and toss as many small marshmallows they could into their teacher's cup. Coming in first with 24 marshmallows was the 4th Grade team of Mrs. Wienkes and Bradley. A close second, with 23 marshmallows, was the 1st grade team of Mrs. Kartman and Henry. Great job teachers and students! #fes #EaglesSoar
