Future sporting updates will only be going to those groups and not the main Fennimore Community Schools group. That one will remain for general school announcements only.

This year 4th graders did family history projects on how their families got to Wisconsin. Each student presented their family history in their own unique way and included some some neat facts. Many students shared that their families came from Germany, England, and Ireland in the 1800’s and even before that. Some of the students have had land in their families from decades to centuries. One of the students was even related to Governor Julius Heil who created the slogan “America's Dairyland.” Some students had letters added or dropped from their last names such as a K being added and a C being dropped. It was also interesting to see that most all the families celebrated similar holidays such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter. The students enjoyed creating their family history presentation as well as listening to their classmates stories about their families. #fes #EaglesSoar

Earlier this semester, in a guidance activity with Mrs. Kamp's 4th grade, Mrs. Ambort challenged students to make a pyramid out of Dixie cups using only their string and rubber band. The activity allowed students to focus on character traits of a good team member, practicing patience, encouragement, and leadership skills, all while managing frustration with the calming down strategies they have learned throughout the year. Great job 4th graders!

We are in the final week of the FES Penny War Fundraiser for MadCity Badgers Wheelchair Basketball. All money must be added to the grade level jugs in the office by Friday. The winning grade level will receive an ice cream party!
Also, remember to mark your calendars for the free MadCity Badgers Wheelchair Basketball Showcase that will be held at FHS on April 23rd from 2:00-5:00. #fes #EaglesSoar

FHS activities for April 10-15th

Ms. Keeney and Mrs. Bunn’s class had some Easter fun yesterday with plastic egg minute to win it games. They built egg towers, set eggs up on end, had an egg on a spoon relay race, and had to toss eggs into a basket that was held on a teammates' head. In addition, the class read the Great Eggscape and they wrote about how and where they would escape to. They then made eggs to go along with it. The first graders were very creative and thought of some great disguises for their eggs! #EaglesSoar #fes
