This week's Class of the Week is Ms. Nalepinski's M/W 4K Class. Will Spring come early? This 5K class had fun making groundhog puppets so that they could check. According to their groundhogs, winter will be staying for 6 more weeks. They are hoping they will finally get some snow to play in!! They have been busy learning the letter Jj and Pp and the colors purple and pink. They had fun with the story "The Three Little Pigs" and showed their acting skills by retelling the story using puppets they made. It has also been a very busy time preparing all of their fun Valentine's projects and cards. The children are looking forward to sharing their valentines with friends. Anybody going to the Fennimore 4-6th Grade Ski Trip tomorrow night, February 7th, at Sundown Ski Resort, please meet Dianne Langmeier at the Mountain Center to get your ski lift ticket. This week's Class of the Week is Mrs. Goss' Kindergarten Class. These 5K students are enjoying learning about plants. As part of their plant unit they are growing a Bonsai Willow plant. Big Congratulations to Lucerito Acatzihua-Rodriguez!
Lucerito quietly crafted an incredible piece of art, pouring her creativity and vision into every detail. After a few casual check-ins and critiques with Mr. Cleveland, she submitted it to the Scholastic Art Show—and guess what? Her artwork was selected for display, earning her a Silver Key Award!
This is a HUGE accomplishment, especially since no other school from our area is represented in the show. Lucerito’s work will be showcased alongside entries from much larger schools at the Milwaukee Art Museum from Feb 1–Mar 16, 2025.
Let’s give her all the love and support she deserves!

This week's Class of the Week is Mrs. Gunderson's Tuesday/Thursday 4K Class. It's been a busy time in 4-K! They have been learning about the color purple and the letter Jj. They learned about the Nursery Rhyme Little Jack Horner and made purple plum pies. They made purple crowns with jewels for the story of Harold's Fairy Tale, and made peanut butter and jelly sandwich collages. They are excited to be getting ready for Valentine's Day next! This week's Class of the Week is Mrs. Bradley's 2nd Grade Class. This class is full of energy and excitement! They are kicking off their place value unit in math, and everyone is loving exploring numbers. During reading time, they are having a blast learning about nouns and verbs while practicing their reading skills.
