This week’s Class of the Week is Mrs. Gunderson’s Mon/Wed 4K Class! It’s a wonderful and busy time of year in 4K. Students just wrapped up their Fall unit and had a blast learning about the letter B, the color brown, turkeys, and bears. They created bear puppets and acted out Goldilocks and the Three Bears. They also learned Hickory, Dickory, Dock and played fun mouse-themed games. And of course—those adorable turkey hats they made for Thanksgiving were a big hit! Next up: getting ready for the Christmas season! Keep up the great work 4K friends! #fes #EaglesSoar

The Annual Holiday Giving Tree is now on display. The Fennimore High School Student Council is spreading holiday cheer in collaboration with the Grant County Holiday Project — and you can help!

In the FHS Commons, you’ll find our Holiday Tree, beautifully decorated with snowflakes ❄️ — each one representing a gift for one of the two families we’ve adopted this season.

How to participate:
1️⃣Select a snowflake from the tree and mark the gift you selected on the master list.
2️⃣ Purchase the gift listed on the snowflake.
3️⃣ Wrap the gift and securely attach the snowflake to it.
4️⃣ Return your gift to the high school by Friday, December 19th.

Your kindness helps make the holidays brighter for families in our community. Thank you for your generosity and holiday spirit!

A huge congratulations to our standout individual competitors:

This week's Class of the Week is Mrs. Reinke's 2nd Grade Class. Mrs. Reinke's students have been busy learning and growing! They are working on reading with fluency, accuracy and expression and have been practicing by reading many different types of stories including trickster tales, fables, fairy tales, tall tales, realistic fiction, and informational text. In math, they just finished learning how to add 2 two-digit numbers and are starting subtraction. Earlier this month, in honor of Veteran's Day, they sent thank you letters and pictures to area Veterans to thank them for their service to our country. Keep up the great work 2nd Graders! #fes #EaglesSoar

4th graders ended their Native American unit with a creative challenge—building detailed dioramas! Each individual or group chose a Native American tribe from Wisconsin and researched its traditions, homes, and daily life. Then they brought their learning to life by creating detailed dioramas that included the specific shelters their tribes used. So much creativity and hands-on learning on display! #fes #EaglesSoar
