Earlier this school year, Mrs. Kamps’, Mrs. Bradley’s, and Ms. Lindquist’s classes adopted calves through the National Adopt a Cow program. Throughout the year, students followed their calves’ growth from birth to 6 months old while learning about dairy farming, what calves eat, where they are housed, and the dairy products they help produce.
Thanks to a grant from Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin, the classes who participated in this year’s Adopt a Cow program had the exciting opportunity to meet their calves, Jam and Jelly, at Orthridge Dairy. The classes are so grateful to have a farm that participates in this program right here in their own backyard! #fes #EaglesSoar

As our 5th graders get ready for their Recognition Night on Thursday, May 21, we’re looking back at some fun memories from their elementary years — like this one from their Eagle Cave field trip in 2nd grade. From their first days in our classrooms to becoming confident leaders in the school, it has been wonderful watching this group learn and grow.
We’re excited to celebrate all they’ve accomplished and cheer them on as they get ready for their next chapter! #fes #EaglesSoar
