Thank you to everyone who supported our Scholastic Book Fair a few weeks ago! Thanks to your generosity, we earned $1,910.74 in books for our students, teachers, classrooms, and library. We were also able to restock our book vending machine, where students can redeem their Eagle Wings for books. Your support helps inspire a love of reading and excitement for books in our students—thank you!

Third graders celebrated completing their Colonial America reading unit with a field trip to Folklore Village. They explored a one-room schoolhouse, participated in old-fashioned activities and games, made their own wool balls, and even learned a few maypole dances. It was a memorable day that brought history to life and deepened their understanding of the Colonial era. #fes #EaglesSoar

This week our current 2nd graders are enjoying Chick Week, so we thought it would be fun to take a trip down memory lane!
Check out these throwback photos of our current 5th graders back when they were 2nd graders learning all about chicks and watching them hatch. It’s hard to believe how much they’ve grown in just a few short years! #ThrowbackThursday #FES #ChickWeek

Today we celebrate the voices behind understanding—Happy National Interpreter Appreciation Day!

Margaret Sprague of the Fennimore Tree Board visited a recent Friday assembly at FES to share some exciting news with students and staff. Thanks to the generosity of the Fennimore Tree Board, 120 trees will be planted by the Arbor Day Foundation in the Chippewa National Forest in honor of Fennimore Elementary School. What a wonderful way to celebrate the importance of trees and leave a lasting impact for future generations! #fes #EaglesSoar
