Congratulations to the 7th Hour Personal Finance class for recently completing the W!SE Financial Literacy Certification Exam! This credential shows colleges and employers that students have the knowledge and skills to make smart financial decisions. #EaglesSoar #FinancialLiteracy

Students used their knowledge of gravity and air resistance to design and build parachutes that helped a diver safely land on a target. They created multiple prototypes, made improvements, and tested their designs along the way. It was hands-on learning, problem-solving, and creativity in action! #fes #EagleSoar

Earlier this school year, Mrs. Kamps’, Mrs. Bradley’s, and Ms. Lindquist’s classes adopted calves through the National Adopt a Cow program. Throughout the year, students followed their calves’ growth from birth to 6 months old while learning about dairy farming, what calves eat, where they are housed, and the dairy products they help produce.
Thanks to a grant from Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin, the classes who participated in this year’s Adopt a Cow program had the exciting opportunity to meet their calves, Jam and Jelly, at Orthridge Dairy. The classes are so grateful to have a farm that participates in this program right here in their own backyard! #fes #EaglesSoar
