Mr. Carl's 8th grade Physics class is exploring Motion and Force as they learn about Newton's First Law!
Science Joke of the Day: Why did the physics student break up with his girlfriend?
Answer:
She had too much inertia! She just wanted to stay at rest and resist any change in their relationship. :-)

Dear Fennimore Families,
I’m excited to share that the Fennimore Travel Club is preparing for our next international adventure — an 11-day journey through Switzerland, Italy, France, and Spain in Summer 2028!
Our travel program has continued to grow thanks to the incredible support of our community. In 2024, 60 travelers explored Greece, and this coming summer 54 travelers will experience France. Each trip has offered our students and community members the chance to see the world, build independence, and gain confidence — memories that truly last a lifetime.
We’d love for your student to be part of the next chapter of this amazing tradition!
Join us for an informational meeting where we’ll cover everything you need to know — trip itinerary, hands-on learning opportunities, academic credit options, and how to officially enroll.
📅 Date: Monday, November 3
🕒 Time: 6:30 PM
💻 Location: Zoom (link shared after RSVP)
👉 RSVP here: https://rsvp.eftours.com/63ga7ub
Students who participate can earn 0.25 elective credits through Fennimore Community Schools, and may also have the opportunity to earn college credits through EF Tours’ accredited Global Learning program.
At the meeting, we’ll open enrollment for the trip — spots are limited, and this will be a first-come, first-served opportunity. Even if you can’t attend, please RSVP to receive all the information after the meeting.
I can’t wait to share how this experience can become one of the most meaningful and unforgettable opportunities in your child’s life!
Warm regards,
Ryanne Carl

On Thursday, October 30th, Fennimore students had the opportunity to support Josiah King in the WSMA State Honors Band Concert at the Overture Center in Madison.
♫To participate in the ensemble, Josiah had to prepare an etude, a class A solo, sight read an excerpt and memorize scales. Josiah was 1 of only 6 high school alto saxophone players in the whole state who made it to this level. Congrats Josiah on this remarkable achievement! Josiah was also selected to solo on the soprano saxophone in Danzon No. 2 by Arturo Marquez. ♫
The Honors Band was directed by Dr. Shanti Simon of the University of Colorado - Boulder. Students were amazed by the musical talent of the group but Josiah's solo was their favorite part! #FHSBand #FHSMeanMachine #EAGLEPride

At the end of October, our 3rd graders spent the day exploring all things pumpkin! They measured, counted seeds, and even painted their own pumpkins. It was a fun, hands-on day of learning and creativity. #fes #EaglesSoar
