This week's Class of the Week is Mrs. Timmerman's Kindergarten Class. They have had such an exciting week in kindergarten! In math, they have been working hard to learn their numbers up to 20 and have been rocking it! In both reading and writing, they’ve been working on CVC words, practicing stretching out sounds to read, spell, and write. Their confidence continues to grow each day. They also explored the five senses. To wrap up their unit, they created their very own Mr. Potato Head craft, adding eyes, ears, a nose, a mouth, and hands to show all the ways they use their senses. The kids had a blast! Mrs. Timmerman is so proud of all their hard work and creativity! #fes #EaglesSoar

Mr. Carl's Physics students put thermal energy to the test by designing creative ways to keep 10 ice cubes cold for as long as possible. Innovation, problem-solving, and a little friendly competition filled the room. Can you spot a winner?!?!

News From The Classroom: English
It was a Great Gatsby themed party to get English 11 students ready to read the novel. They completed stations to learn all about the 1920s and the novel’s background, such as the American Dream, the prohibition, the author F. Scott Fitzgerald, and Roaring 20s fashion. They enjoyed treats, party hats, pictures, and lots of learning!

Last Thursday, a few fifth grade students had the opportunity to compete against more than 15 area schools in the Math 24 Challenge hosted by CESA 3. The event provided a great opportunity to sharpen math skills while connecting with students from other schools. Fennimore earned a second-place finish as a team, and Aubrey Reuter took first place individually out of more than 50 students.

Don't forget to join the holiday magic at the Middle School and High School Winter Concerts TONIGHT, Dec. 15th.

There’s a burst of holiday spirit in the Middle and High School Agriculture classroom. Students have been working on festive, hands-on projects that brighten up the season. Take a look at the wonderful creations they’ve finished.

This week's Class of the Week is Mrs. Kamps' 3rd grade Class. Mrs. Kamps' students have been working extra hard. They recently completed a unit on the human body systems and celebrated by becoming doctors, working on a variety of tasks. They also wrapped up their division unit. They are excited for the holiday season and are looking forward to their Winter Concert! Keep up the great work 3rd graders!
