Today's Friday morning’s PBIS assembly brought some friendly competition with a high-energy stacking cups challenge featuring four of our teachers! The crowd was cheering as staff members raced the clock to stack and unstack cups as quickly as possible—focus, speed, and a little bit of strategy were on full display. In the end, Ms. Hunt came out on top and claimed the title of cup stacking champion! #fes #EaglesSoar

We received some exciting news for one of our graduates just before graduation! 🎓✨

Congratulations to Orlando Bonilla on being awarded the WATDA Foundation Scholarship! 🎉 Orlando received up to $3,000 in scholarship funding along with a Snap-on tool set valued at over $5,000 to support his future career and education and the Automotive Industry.

Field Day at FES was packed with fun games, lots of movement, and plenty of fresh air! Students spent the day running, laughing, cheering on classmates, and showing great teamwork at every station. It was a great day to stay active, make memories, and enjoy time outside together! #fes #EaglesSoar

Did you know that these students and staff held a bake sale for Mr. Kieler this week? Special shout-out to Nathan Czaplewski for organizing the event and Mrs. Dawne Collins for the hours she spent prepping and baking! They raised a total of $311! 👏👏👏 #TogetherWeSoar

All aboard! Mrs. Collins' Physical Science class explored the Fennimore Railroad Museum where students got a up close and personal look at historical trains and tractors. They loved seeing science in motion - from engine parts to simple machines!

Brackets are out and Fennimore receives the #3 seed. Their first game of tournament play will be Tuesday, June 2nd at 5:00 pm in Fennimore! Go Eagles! 🦅

Our 5th graders wrapped up their Counter Act lessons with a sweet treat and an important lesson! Assistant Chief Fecht surprised students with a build-your-own sundae bar — but there was a twist! Students had to create their sundaes while wearing “beer and drug goggles,” which simulated the effects alcohol and drugs can have on coordination and decision-making. There were plenty of laughs along the way, but the activity also served as a powerful reminder about the dangers of alcohol and drug use.

A big THANK YOU to Assistant Chief Fecht for spending time with students and helping teach valuable lessons about making safe, healthy choices and resisting drugs, alcohol, and violence. Your support is greatly appreciated! #fes #EaglesSoar

Here’s a look back at our current 5th graders when they were in 3rd grade. It’s amazing to see how much they’ve grown and all the memories they’ve made along the way!

Tonight is the big night as they will be celebrated at their 5th Grade Recognition at Fennimore High School beginning at 5:30 p.m. Congratulations, 5th graders — so proud of you! #fes #EaglesSoar

The fourth-grade students recently visited Stonefield Historic Site. During the trip, students learned about life in the early 1900s and explored many parts of Wisconsin history, including the agriculture museum, a farmhouse, a one-room schoolhouse, and the creamery. At the creamery, students learned how farmers brought their milk to be processed. They saw the machines used to separate the milk from the fat and even made butter.

In the agriculture museum, students learned about harvesting wild rice, cranberries, and dairy products. They also learned about the Babcock machine, which tests milk for fat content. The dioramas and farm equipment helped students understand how farming practices and technology have changed over time.

The fourth graders also attended a lesson in a one-room schoolhouse. Students learned that the Pledge of Allegiance has changed over time. Girls sat on one side of the room while boys sat on the other. Students practiced geography, math, and reading skills, and they even took a spelling test.

The fourth graders had a wonderful time learning about Wisconsin history during their field trip to Stonefield Village. #fes #EaglesSoar
