Earlier this week Ms. Lindquist's 2nd Grade Students explored how animals help spread seeds! They discovered that different seed shapes make it easier—or harder—for them to hitch a ride. These scientists in training created their own “Fluffadoos” and tested to see how long different seeds stayed on their "animals.” The results? Spiky and larger seeds traveled farther than the smooth ones! #fes #EaglesSoar

This week’s Class of the Week is Mrs. Wienkes’ 4th Grade Class! This class has been hard at work getting back into the school routine by reviewing our school rules—be respectful, be responsible, and be safe. With those expectations guiding their days, they’ve also jumped into some exciting learning across subjects. In ELA, they are exploring the Middle Ages and making the tough decision of which part of the feudal system they’d like to join. In math, they’re sharpening their addition and subtraction skills to get ready for multi-digit multiplication. Lastly, social studies has them learning all about the wonderful state we call home! It’s shaping up to be an exciting year of learning and fun! Keep up the great work 4th Graders!
