This week’s Class of the Week is Ms. Lindquist’s 2nd Grade Class! These busy second graders have been learning all about landscapes in science — and their favorite so far has been geysers! In reading, they’re following along on Kim and Kurt’s adventure as they search for a summer job. In math, they recently wrapped up their unit on time and money and are now diving into place value. Ms. Lindquist is excited to see them continue learning and growing in 2nd grade! Keep up the great work second graders!

Summer School planning is underway, and we’d like to share some important dates with you. This summer, we will be offering two weeks of academic programming at the beginning of August. We hope this opportunity will help families ease back into a morning routine and give students a great “jump start” for the upcoming school year.
We plan to continue offering a wide variety of sports and exploratory classes throughout the summer! In addition, Mrs. Kamps will be expanding field trips to include both Mondays and Tuesdays. We’re currently working out the details and hope to have everything finalized soon!
