Yuck! Gross! Wow this is so cool! Those are just a few things students were saying as they dissected owl pellets in the 5th Grade science room. After dissection students had to map out the bones and use the evidence to figure out what animal was in the pellet. The activity helped students learn about an owl’s digestion and diet, as well as about food chains. Such a great hands-on learning activity that most students will never forget! #fes #EaglesSoar

This week and next week PE classes in grades K-5 are getting a chance to roller skate at the Rainbo Palace. Each class will get four 1 hour skating times over the course of the 2 weeks. This is great practice for some of our newbie skaters and for others it is a great chance to build confidence and hone in their skills. No matter the level, skating proves to be great exercise for both the mind and body.

Mrs. Ihm and Mr. Meyer's Science 7 students got messy today as they made oobleck!
Oobleck is a substance made from cornstarch and water. It mimics the characteristics of a liquid and solid. It's so fun to play with!!!!

We have some exciting news to share! Trivia Night is back!
Trivia Night 2022 - Wild About Books will be held at Fennimore Elementary School on Friday, March 11th at 6:00 PM. This event is open to all students in grades 5K-5th grade. Please keep an eye out for the registration forms as they will be coming home next week in your child's folders.
